Some 2020–2024 Ford Police Interceptor Utility vehicles were ordered with factory configuration 65U (Police Interior Upgrade Package)—which technically includes a SYNC 3 system, but with severe limitations. These vehicles come equipped with a SYNC 3 APIM module, but no large touchscreen, no factory navigation, and no access to features like climate control or driver assistance through the screen.

Functionally, these restricted SYNC 3 systems behave no differently than vehicles without SYNC at all.

This Touchscreen Upgrade Package is designed to fully unlock your SYNC 3 system by replacing the small screen with a factory-style 8.46" or 10.1" touchscreen, depending on your selection. It restores full functionality including:

Factory-style interface and touchscreen control
Climate control, media, vehicle settings, driver assistance features, and more
Seamless OEM appearance

For those who also want factory navigation, an optional upgraded SYNC 3 APIM module can be included in this package. This upgraded APIM replaces your existing one and enables built-in GPS navigation—no data or mobile connection required.

Fully plug-and-play. Compatible only with 2020–2024 Police Interceptor Utility models that already have a SYNC 3 system from the factory.
