Product Description
Some 2020–2024 Ford® Police Interceptor® Utility vehicles come from the factory with the backup camera image displayed in the rearview mirror. While functional, this viewing angle isn’t ideal for everyone—especially officers used to checking the center screen during vehicle operation. Simple plug-and-play installation. No cutting or programming required.
This reroute kit offers a practical solution: it transfers the backup camera feed from the rearview mirror to the center display screen, providing a larger, more intuitive view when reversing.
Two configuration options are available to fit your specific need:
- Backup camera image reroute to center display only – Redirects the backup image from the mirror to the center display only. Ideal for users who prefer to see the reverse camera feed on the SYNC screen and no longer need it in the mirror.
- Backup camera image on both rear view mirror & center display – Displays the backup image on both the rearview mirror and the center screen simultaneously when reversing. Perfect for users who want maximum visibility and flexibility.
